my
personal life

My husband and I live in Rochester, MN. I am a mother of four adult children. I enjoy cooking, gardening, and visiting with family when I need self-care. Watching English mystery shows and traveling are my two passions. I find solace in connecting with nature and enjoy going on long walks.

my background

I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology of Counseling from Crossroads College in MN and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Bradley University, Peoria, IL. As a therapist, I bring a warm, holistic, and interactive style to my sessions, grounded in evidence-based somatic techniques that incorporate the brain and body. Multicultural frameworks deeply inform my work, and I am especially dedicated to supporting clients from the BIPOC community, including first- and second-generation Africans in the diaspora. While passionate about serving these communities, I welcome and offer services to individuals from all backgrounds and experiences, believing everyone deserves access to compassionate, culturally sensitive care.

As a Brainspotting-trained, IFS-informed practitioner, I use these tools to help clients safely and gradually process trauma. I strive to help clients process trauma in a safe and manageable way. My goal is to offer a non-judgmental, compassionate environment where clients can feel supported and empowered on their healing journey.
